Student Cluster Competition

• What is the name of your team and why did you choose it?
  
  In fact, there is not a special name, and we are just "the team of Tsinghua University". We have thought of a name "team Tsinghua DGEMM", but we think it is too funny and will make us laugh whenever we see this name, so we did not use the name.
  
  
• Why do you think your team will have an edge in the event (what's your secret sauce)?
  
  We have won the championship of ASC, ISC and SC competitions last year! This year we were the runner-up in the both ASC and ISC competition.
  
  Compared to those two events, student cluster competition on SC much more needs our comprehensive ability, including the ability of scientific research, which may relatively be our weakness. We are especially preparing for this and making progress!
  
  
• What have you done to prepare that makes your team unique?
  
  We call for delivered food when we meet every week, and when we gather together to work.
  
  
• What are you most looking forward to in the competition?
  
  Of course, the championship!
  
  
• How long will it take you to get to Denver?
  
  The two connecting flights take about 18 hours in total! It will really be a loooooooong trip.
  
  
• What do your team members do for fun?
  
  We often Watch BoxCar2D for fun when we are working together. (www.boxcar2d.com)
  
  
• If your team had a theme song, what would it be?
  
  We have an idea to compose a "song of DGEMM", and its lyrics are filled by "DGEMM ∼DGEMM∼ DGEMM∼∼∼". However, this is just an idea yet.
  
  For now, if we had a theme song, it would be "Gdb - Cokiyu". This is really a piece of music, and it can reflect the state of us during the competition!
  
  
• Can you share an interesting fact about your team?
  
  We are all good at telling jokes!
